I Love You. I Miss You. Have A Good Day.

2022

“I Love You. I Miss You. Have A Good Day.,” is titled after the short phrase I would say to my mother before she left for work — words that have now become something of a prayer for me. This series of photographs examines a rich and gentle narrative of family kinship, the inevitability of aging, and the will to move forward:

“My father is a handyman.
He can fix anything around the house.
He has a stern face.
A man of few words.

My mother is a hairdresser.
She cuts our family’s hair in her small salon.
She has a gentle face.
A charismatic woman.

They are my world and more.”

To All The Men I’ve Loved Dated.

2025

To All The Men I’ve Loved Dated is a one-page risograph-printed zine that reflects on the cycles of love, loss, and hope in modern dating. Through a series of photographs and selfies with former partners—each anonymized by obscuring their faces—the work preserves only the artist’s own smile alongside another body. These images capture the fleeting joy of being with someone, even as they are paired with the weight of final words and lessons learned from each relationship.

Balancing humor and heartache, the zine embraces the hopelessness that can follow a breakup while holding onto an optimistic curiosity for what might come next. It is both a personal archive and a playful meditation on intimacy, vulnerability, and the enduring belief in love’s return.

BLUE

2022

BLUE is a handmade artist book that reimagines the shifting, luminous qualities of water through a fusion of traditional and contemporary techniques. Created using the cyanotype photographic printing process, each page reveals deep, rich blue impressions that capture the fluidity, movement, and light of water’s surface. Intricate laser-cut elements are layered over these prints, adding dimensionality and inviting light to pass through—mimicking the way reflections dance and change with each moment.

Bound using a Japanese side-stitch, the book’s form complements the delicacy and organic rhythm of the images within. Blue offers an immersive experience of looking at water, where light, shadow, and texture intertwine to form an ever-changing visual landscape. By combining historical photographic methods with modern fabrication processes, this work pushes the boundaries of how we can see, touch, and experience the natural world’s quiet complexity.

Queer Journey

Blurb Books

2021

This book brings together portraits and personal narratives from queer members of the LGBTQ+ community in Waterville, Maine—a community I longed for but did not have growing up. Through photographing, listening, and engaging in conversation, I came to understand the beauty, resilience, and individuality that shape our identities. Each page invites you to see us as we are, to read our stories, and to witness the power of visibility, connection, and belonging.
